Where ancient
wisdom meets
modern purpose

Ikshuvana — meaning "sugarcane grove" in Sanskrit — was born from a simple belief: that the earth provides everything we need, and we owe it our care in return.

We transform sugarcane bagasse — the fibrous pulp left after juice extraction — into beautiful, functional, and fully compostable tableware. Every plate, bowl, box, and cup we make is a step away from plastic and a step back toward the earth.

Ancient Heritage Sugarcane has been grown in India for over 4,000 years. We honour that legacy with every product.
Zero Waste Philosophy Bagasse is a byproduct. We take what would be burned or discarded and give it a second, purposeful life.
Certified Safe & Compostable BPI certified, ASTM D6400 compliant. Safe for microwave, freezer, oil, and food contact.

Crafted from the sacred grove

Every product is 100% bagasse, compostable within 60 days, and free of plastic, bleach, and chemicals.

Our Voice

The words that define us

Ancient roots. Sustainable future.

Born from the grove. Built for the planet.

Nature made it. We shaped it.

Field to table. Table to soil.

Eat well. Waste nothing.

Serve beautifully. Waste nothing.

Pure fibre. Pure purpose.

From the field
to your table

1

Sugarcane Harvest

Bagasse is collected from local sugar mills after juice extraction — a byproduct that would otherwise be burned.

2

Pulp Preparation

Bagasse is cleaned, washed, and pulped without bleach or chemical whiteners. Pure natural fibre.

3

Heat Pressing

Pulp is hot-pressed into moulds at precise temperatures and pressure — creating strong, uniform tableware.

4

Quality & Dispatch

Every batch is tested for food safety, strength, and compostability before being packed and shipped.

Roots run deep

Three minds. One mission. United by the belief that the earth deserves better — and that business can be the vehicle for that change.
